Dynjandi Waterfall and Farm Visit – for cruise ship passenger

Sightseeing tour by minibus.
Local guide and driver.

Dynjandi waterfall is the biggest waterfall in the Westfjords.  There are 6 other waterfalls below and which one passes on the way to the biggest waterfall. There is a man-made path leading up to all the waterfalls.

This tour starts in Ísafjörður and will lead you to the impressive waterfall Dynjandi which is situated in Arnarfjörður.  Along the way, we will have great photo stops. We stop at the waterfall for about 40 minutes and you will get the time you need to walk around, enjoy and take pictures in this beautiful setting. We highly recommend hiking up to the biggest waterfall.
On the way back we visit our farm where you get to know our way of living. There you can take a look at the nesting area of the eiderduck, a wild bird that produces a unique, natural product that is the eiderdown. You will hear about the eiderducks, feel their down and if you are lucky you might get to observe the bird in the wild.
