Privat tours – surrounding Ísafjörður
This tour will give you a fascinating insight of the rural surroundings of Ísafjörður. “Western Wonders” as we call them in Iceland include the breathtaking mountains, endless scenery, fantastic birdlife and beautiful nature.
You can choose the length of the tour or places to visit.

Tour that will lead you to a countryside or/and fishing villages where you will get some interesting information about the inhabitants daily life and work.
Fjords&Farms – Our most popular tour
We will start by driving through Ísafjörður to Tungudalur and stop at a beautiful small waterfall surrounded by green nature. From there we drive to Önundarfjörður and stop at Flateyri, fishing village. There you can walk around and see, for example, old bookstore, the local church with beautiful stained glass windows, go up to the viewing platform or explore the harbor and look at the boats. There are also good cafés in Flateyri and in Önundarfjördur if you might want to stop and have refreshments.
Next we drive to the countryside, and visit our farm where you get to know our way of living. There you can take a look at the nesting area of the eiderduck, a wild bird that produces a unique, natural product that is the eiderdown. You will hear about the eiderducks, feel their down and if you are lucky you might get to observe the bird in the wild.

You can prefer to drive to Bolungarvík where you can see Ösvör an old fishing station with turf houses and fishing boats. We stop by a beautiful lighthouse and drive around the harbor area, where you can observe the lively community. You can visit handcraft gallery or restaurant. If the visibility is good, it is ideal to drive up to Bolafjall mountain where the view is amazing.
You can also prefer to drive to Suðureyri small fishing village or to the Arctic fox center in Súðavík.
All tours ends with driving through Ísafjörður city.
